Terms of service

Who we are and what this covers#

These terms govern your use of Author, provided by AVS Media, Federico Fellinistraat 102, 6515 LV Nijmegen, the Netherlands (KvK 98648225). This website only shows the product; the terms apply when you use Author itself.

Access#

Author is invite-only while we let people in step by step. Use Request access and we write to you when it is ready for you. Features, limits and plans can change as we build; we tell you in the app.

Your account#

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account and for the keys you give your agents. Tell us at hello@avs-media.com if someone else got in.

Acceptable use#

Do not break the law, attack the service, resell access without our consent, or upload content you have no right to.

Your content and your agents#

Your content stays yours. You give us the right to store and show it only as far as needed to run the service for you and for the agents you connect. You are responsible for what your agents send. Anything consequential waits for your approval, and the audit log keeps who did what and when. You can export your content and delete it at any time.

Plans and payment#

The plans and their prices are on the pricing page, in euro with VAT included. Paid plans renew every period until you cancel. You can cancel in your account at any time; the plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for. Consumers in the EU may withdraw within 14 days of buying; if you start using the service earlier, you agree that the right ends as far as the service was used. Bring your own AI: the cost of your own AI is yours.

Availability and changes#

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it is never interrupted. We may change features; for changes that matter to you we tell you beforehand.

Liability#

We build with care but cannot guarantee a particular result. Our liability is limited as far as the law allows, and not for intent or gross negligence. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

Law and contact#
